To reward an outstanding staff person of a member institution of Region 11 who has shown exemplary performance in College Union or Student Activities work and commendable service to the organization within the past year. For new or seasoned professionals.

Outstanding Student Achievement Award

To reward an outstanding student of a member institution of Region 11 who has shown exemplary performance in College Union or Student Activities work. Any full-time student of a member institution in Region 11.  The student must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or greater (on a 4.0 scale).

Role of the College Union Award

To acknowledge an outstanding program or service as embodied by ACUI’s Role of the College Union statement. Any program or service sponsored or supported by a member institution in Region 11 that is on-going, or has occurred during the past academic year is eligible.

William H. Smith Distinguished Service Award

To honor and recognize longtime student union or student activities professionals of Region 11 member institutions who have made exceptional contributions and demonstrated a long-term commitment to the student union/student activities profession on their campuses and within Region 11.
