2007 Three Rivers defeated Mineral Area in a three-game series.  Game 1: Three Rivers 72, Mineral Area 70 in overtime at Poplar Bluff.  Game 2: Mineral Area 82, Three Rivers 56 at Mineral Area.  Game 3: Three Rivers 85, Mineral Area 82 at Three Rivers.  Three Rivers then advanced directly to the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.
2006 Mineral Area defeated Missouri State-West Plains in a three-game series. Game 1: Mineral Area 78, Missouri State-WP 57 @ Mineral Area.  Game 2: Mineral Area 76, Missouri State-WP 75 @ Missouri State-WP.  Game 3: Not necessary.  Mineral Area then lost to Southwestern Illinois 65 - 83 in the district championship game played in Belleville, Illinois.
2005 Moberly defeated Three Rivers in a three-game series.  Game 1: Moberly 69, Three Rivers 61 @ Moberly; Game 2: Moberly 77, Three Rivers - 62 @ Poplar Bluff; Game 3: Not necessary.  Moberly advanced directly to the NJCAA National Tournament.

1988 Moberly defeated Three Rivers in a three-game series.  Game 1: Moberly 64, Three Rivers 63 @ Poplar Bluff; Game 2: Three Rivers 78, Moberly 73 @ Moberly; Game 3: Moberly 81, Three Rivers 55 @ Linn Tech (neutral court).   Moberly then defeated Clinton, Iowa (region 11 champion) 90 - 88 at Kirksville to advance to the national tournament.
1987 Three Rivers defeated Moberly in a three-game series.  Game 1: Three Rivers won 73 - 72 at Moberly.  Game 2: Three Rivers won 72 - 57 in Poplar Bluff.
1986 Moberly defeated Three Rivers in a three game series.  Game 1: Three Rivers won 88 - 80 in Poplar Bluff.  Game.  Game 2: Moberly won 82 - 68 in Moberly.  Game 3: Moberly won 69 - 63 in overtime at Sedalia, Missouri.
1985 Moberly defeated Jefferson in a three-game series.  Game 1: Moberly won 74 - 65 at Moberly; Game 2: Jefferson won 71 - 64 in OT at Jefferson.  Game 3: Moberly won 58 - 55 at Mineral Area (neutral court).
1984 Three Rivers defeated Moberly in a three-game series.  Game 1: Three Rivers won 72 - 58 at Poplar Bluff.  Game 2: Three Rivers won 85 - 78 at Moberly.
1983 Moberly defeated Three Rivers in a three game series.  Game 1: Moberly won 96 - 75 in Moberly. Game 2: Moberly won 78 - 74 in Poplar Bluff.

1981 Three Rivers defeated Crowder in a three game series.  Deciding game was 72 - 59.
1980 Three Rivers defeated Moberly in two straight games.  Game one - Three Rivers 97, Moberly 66 in Poplar Bluff; Game two - Three Rivers 70, Moberly 62 at Moberly.

1977 Mineral Area defeated Moberly 2 - 1in a three game series.  Game one - Moberly 68, Mineral Area 61 at Moberly.  Game two - Mineral Area 68, Moberly 56 at Mineral Area.  Game three - Mineral Area defeated Moberly 64 - 54 in the deciding championship game at Jefferson College.

1974 Moberly defeated Meramec in a three-game series.  Game one - Moberly 59, Meramec 54 at Meramec; Game two - Meramec 67, Moberly 65 at Meramec; Game three - Moberly 54, Meramec 50 at Moberly.
1973 Three Rivers defeated Moberly 2-1 in best of three.  Moberly won game one 94-79 at Moberly; Three Rivers won games two (99-78) and three (59-57), both at Three Rivers.
1972 State Fair defeated Moberly 66 - 63 for the Region 16 Western Division title, then went on to defeat Meramec, the eastern winner, for the Region 16 title.  State Fair then advanced to the national tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

1970 Moberly defeated Meramec in a three-game series.  Moberly won game one 69-59 at Meramec.  Meramec won game two 69-67 at Moberly.  Moberly won game three 70-68 at Moberly.  Moberly then defeated the Region 6 winner (Paducah, Kentucky) for the right to advance to the NJCAA National Tournament.  Game one at Paducah - Moberly won 87 - 84.  Game two at Moberly - Moberly won 98 - 72.

1948 In 1948, there was no Region 16 champion.  Moberly was invited as the "host" team because the tournament was held in Springfield, Missouri, and Moberly had the best season record among Missouri junior colleges.  Moberly lost to McCook, Nebraska, by two points.
