Annual Meeting

April 3, 2008

Attending: Shelly Brown, Jenny Anspach, Mark Carl, Jason Rinne, Anthony Alexander, Todd Kuhns, Barry Bookout, Rob Hornberger, Brian Edmond, Jonathan Steffens, Thomas Marrone, Grayson Gordon, Brian Heaton, Sara Clark, Chad Killingsworth, Jim Welch, Michael Percival, George Sackett, Richard Shumacher and Amy Bell.

Meeting called to order.

Rob Hornberger introduced the officers present.

Rob talked about making the Chair responsible for the web track at HELIX next year.

Richard Shumacher moved to change the title of the “Chair” office to “President” in theBy-Laws. Seconded by Sara Clark. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.

Dan Frommelt from the University of Wisconsin gave information about how we could become a Missouri chapter of the National HighEdWeb organization. Among the benefits are that it lends greater credibility to our organization and gives us accessibilityto post-conference information. We also discussed membership costs and the benefits of individual versus institutional membership.

Sara Clark asked for proposals for the HighEdWeb conference in October 2008 andmade a plea for a good Missouri turnout.

Barry Bookout moved to elect the same officers to the same positions next year.Seconded by George Sackett. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.
