Missouri State University's World Affairs Council ● UNA-USA ● UN

Part of the UNA-USA's mission is to educate Americans about the work of the United Nations. To help achieve that goal, the Springfield chapter of the UNA-USA is an active suporter of many educational services in Springfield.

The Springfield UNA-USA is particularly involved with Missouri State University's World Affairs Council.

The World Affairs Council is a student-run organization focused on international affairs. In addition to sponsoring many events with the World Affairs Council, the UNA-USA helps to fund and support many of the World Affairs Council's activities. The World Affairs Council hosts the largest model United Nations program for high school students in the mid-west. In addition to this, the World Affairs Council is an active participant at many university-level model UN conferences across the country.

The Springfield UNA-USA is also proud to have a United Nations Depository Library right here in Springfield. Missouri State University's Meyer Library hosts one of 46 UN Depositories in the United States, and the only one in Missouri.
